Meet Our Team Amanda Nesbitt: Coordinator of Programs and Initiatives Amanda is in her second year as a member of the Athletics Department, and plays a key role in the execution and delivery of ActiveU. She graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and Bachelor of Education from Lakehead University. During her time at Lakehead University, she played 5 years with the women’s basketball team and was awarded the Amanda Nesbitt Award for her unfailing dedication and selflessness. Previously she has worked as an occasional and contract teacher in Lindsay, Ontario, and spent her free time coaching basketball to youth in the community. Amanda is very excited to deliver a top-notch program to children in the community, allowing them to explore a variety of new activities and educational experiences.
